Who is responsible for your information

Information we collect

We collect your name, email address, order and product details, payment status, account information, and basic technical data needed for security and country-based checkout. This can include an approximate city and country derived from the checkout request; we do not store the customer's IP address for this purpose. We also collect anonymous storefront activity such as page and product views, add-to-cart and checkout activity, referral source, device category, and country. A random browser identifier and a 30-minute session identifier are kept in browser storage to estimate visitors and sessions; they are not linked to a name or email address. For a personalised reading, we also collect only the details requested on that product, which may include a name, date and time of birth, gender, place of birth, country, relationship details, and your question or notes.

How we use it

• To create and confirm your order.
• To deliver downloads, course access, and completed readings.
• To display purchases in your customer library.
• To understand storefront traffic and improve product pages, navigation, and checkout performance.
• To show limited recent-purchase activity on the storefront when the sales-notification feature is enabled. These notices may use a first name, an approximate city or country, the purchased product, and a rounded purchase time. They never display an email address, order number, payment details, or personal-reading answers.
• To prevent fraud, secure accounts, and resolve support requests.
• To maintain transaction records required by law.

Payments and service providers

PayPal and Razorpay process payments and receive the information needed to complete those transactions under their own privacy practices. Our website and order system use Vercel and Convex, and transactional email is sent through our email provider. These providers process information only as needed to supply their services. We do not sell your personal information.

Optional advertising cookies

When advertising tracking is enabled, we ask before loading optional marketing tags from Meta, Google Ads, or our configured Google Tag Manager container. If you accept, these tools may receive public page activity, advertising click identifiers, product identifiers and quantities, checkout activity, and confirmed purchase amounts, currencies, and unique transaction identifiers. The providers also receive technical information through their tags, such as your IP address and browser information, under their own privacy practices. This helps us measure advertising and its results.

Our advertising events exclude names, email addresses, payment credentials, personal-reading answers, and private account or payment return URLs. You can reject optional tracking or change your choice using Cookie preferences in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future tracking on this site; it does not remove data already received by a provider. Your choice is remembered for up to six months. We respect the browser's Global Privacy Control signal.

Storage and retention

Order records are retained for accounting, fraud prevention, customer access, and legal compliance. Personal-reading inputs are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to prepare, deliver, and support the purchase, unless a longer period is required by law. Anonymous visitor and session identifiers in our analytics system are removed after approximately 13 months; aggregated traffic totals may be kept longer. You can reset the identifier saved in your browser by clearing this site's browser storage. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information by emailing hi@astralembrace.shop. Some transaction information may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons. This store is intended for adults aged 18 or older.
